Tribe Cones LLC is a local group of entrepreneurs that contacted me to help them design a website to sell their handcrafted wares and accessories. The group travels the US attending some of the largest EDM festivals selling their goods wholesale to vendors and taking orders for custom products. Hoping to expand their business, the group wanted a platform in which they could not only sell their goods, but also communicate with their customer base.

I began this project with extensive research into similar businesses and their sites– making note of common features, imagery and overall layouts. Many entrepreneurs who produce similar products did not have their own websites. Instead, they use platforms like Etsy to sell their wares. While this is a straight-forward means of advertising products, it left much to be desired as far as authenticity and personality goes.

Aiming for professionalism, a modern-feel and a simple interface, I chose to use Wix as a host platform for my client's site. The drag-and-drop interface of the editing app made it easy for my client's to add products to their site and reduced the site's build time to less than a week.
